Pre-styling
This is how you use a leave-in conditioner , detangler or heat-UV spray in your curls routine:
- On damp hair after washing: Apply the pre-styler to towel-dried hair, immediately after rinsing yourconditioner or mask . Make sure your hair is thoroughly damp.
- Focus on the lengths and ends: When applying the product, concentrate mainly on the lengths and ends of your hair, where it is often the most dry and damaged.
- Comb through: Use a comb or brush to distribute the pre-styler conditioner evenly through your hair and remove any tangles.
- Leave in the hair: Do not rinse the pre-stylers, but leave them in your hair to provide long-lasting hydration and care.
Heat & UV sprays
Heat protectors can be applied in different ways. As a pre-styler but also after styling. Consult the instructions for use with the product to see if you can use the above steps.
Additional Tips:
- Fine, thin hair or strands : Use a cream / activator or opt for a leave-in conditioner. Both products may be too heavy to use together. Then apply a gel or other styler for extra curl definition.
